How do you make an interior design presentation board? What should be included on the board.?

Q. This is for a project updating an office for the school president.

A. I'd paint the board with the main wall color and have chips of any accent paint colors. Include samples of the carpet and any fabric's you'll be using, as well as wood stains, and photos of the furniture and accessories. And, don't forget a scale drawing of the room showing the placement of the furniture.

Here's a site that shows some examples:

How to lock an interior door without ruining the doorframe?
Q. So it's come to my attention that family members are stealing my stuff while I'm out of the house. I pay board to live in the house, so I believe I'm entitled to some security.

I want to attach a lock to the door, but with the minimal amount of damage to the doorframe and the actual door. Can anyone think of a way to do this?

A. Change the existing doorknob (passage or possibly privacy) to one that locks with a key(security or entry) You can get one to match so it will hardly be noticeable and will not harm the door or jamb. good luck.

How do I get my 2007 Mustang interior lights to turn off faster after turning the key to the "off" position?
Q. I was told there was a setting for this, but I do not have the car's user manual yet. I hate sitting in a dark parking lot waiting for those two spotlights that are on me to turn off!!!! The car is just a basic Mustang (not GT or Shelby). Thanks so much for your suggestions.

A. unless its controled by the computer its either on or off no faster to it.you can take the bulbs out completey but that will put you in the dark all the time maybe thats what you want is it?

How many bricks must be incorporated into the interior of the house?
Q. A house is designed to have passive solar energy features. Brickwork is to be incorporated into the interior of the house to act as a heat absorber. Each brick weighs approximately 1.8 kg. The specific heat of the brick is 0.85 J/g·K. How many bricks must be incorporated into the interior of the house to provide the same total heat capacity as 1.4 x10 ^3 gal of water?

A. 1.4 x10 ^3 gal of water @ 3.784 litres / gal = 5.3 X 10 ^3 litres

=5.3 X10^6 millilitres = 5.3 X 10^6 grams

----------------------

5.3 X 10^6 grams)(4.18joules /gC) = 2.21 X 10 ^ 7 joules / C
from water
----------------------
Bricks:
(1800 grams)(0.85 joules/ gK)= 1530 joules per brick
