Will tattoos inhibit a career in interior design?

Q. I want to get an associate's degree in interior design. I'd love to get more tattoos, but would that inhibit a career in interior design? I know it's an artsy profession, but I don't want to destroy my future because I assumed they wouldn't care.
Please don't spam on here... I need real answers please. And if anyone else sees spam on here please report it.

A. A design portfolio would be a much better way to showcase you creativity.

What is the best street in Brisbane that has funky homeware and interior design shops?
Q. Maybe some street in Paddington or New Farm perhaps?

A. aside from housewares and interior design shops in brisbane, white australians are great, because they protected aborigine sacrificially from japs, attempting to extinguished them during wwâ¡. white people in australia have always been very generous and merciful to the native people, whereas japs have been evil to people all over the world. those bastards should be wiped out as soon as possible! that's the universal desire.

Can anyone recommend a good Interior Design and Decorating Short Course?
Q. I am interested in doing a short course in Interior Design and Decorating for my own interest and am wondering if anyone has done one they can recommend? I would consider doing workshops or even a course by correspondence. I don't necessarily want a qualification from this, just to learn a few handy and practical tips.

A. hi, where i live our community college offers short courses on it, maybe you could look into the schools in your area, also a lot of big design companies offer courses for free if you are willing to come to work for them after wards. i attended a workshop years ago that was given every summer for $100. maybe there are things in your area like that. you might want to google it and see what comes up. good luck

What should I do, Architecture or Interior Design?
Q. At the moment im studying ND Art & Design. Im planning to go uni soon and wondering which course would be better. I heard that the Architecture course is 7 years and im not sure if I can afford that.
How long is the interior design course? Also which job pay better ( earnings always comes to mind for some reason )
Thanks

A. 4 yrs for Interior Design. Architects are paid more, in general. If you're a whiz at math, go for architecture. Or, you can always do Interior Design first with a 2 yr degree, then morph into architecture if you think you'd like it better. Interior Designers study architecture in their 3rd & 4th years, whereas architects study no interior design. I know it's a hard decision - I struggled with this myself. I decided that I liked spatial design more. (Though I think I would've been a great architect!!!)

Which east coast USA city would be best for an interior design job besides NYC?
Q. NYC is just too expensive, which cities would be the best to find interior design jobs. Boston? Chicago? Also, which would be 'safest' and cheapest to live? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

A. Chicago is not on the east coast and it is really cold in the winter.

Really, New York is the place to be if you want to do world class work. That is why I moved to LA to design electronics, because that is where the world class work is done and I just live in basic accommodations because of the high cost. But my work goes all round the world. Go to any other east coast city and actually it will not be as safe as New York and you will only get local work. You may not get world renown in NYC but you won't get it for sure any where else.
